The special "tsuchime" steel provides ideal cutting properties and the longest “kirenagu” to Sakai knives. All the knives of the Samura Sakai collection have the Japanese style blades and natural wooden handles.
The handle is made of natural mahogany. The hygienic bolster is fused with an edge. Hammered 33 layer Damascus steel blades have a hardness of 61 HRC. It has undergone manual grinding and polishing.
